Look at the live listing, not the pricing page
Launch boards advertise DR and dofollow. The follow attribute lives on your product page after you launch. Open it in a private window. View source or use an inspector. If the link is nofollow, the marketing page was a wish.
Three honest options
Embed the badge if you do not mind the chrome and you want the follow. Pay the no-badge tier if it is cheap and the domain is real. Skip the board if the only value was a link you will not earn.
A BetaList or Product Hunt listing that stays indexed is usually worth more than five tiny badges.
