Daily hunts besides Product Hunt
Daily boards share a format with Product Hunt: a leaderboard, a day that ends, a hunting mechanic. They do not share an audience. The reason to use them is odds, not ceiling.
Uneed is the primary substitute. Everything else is an extra day — never the same morning as Product Hunt or each other.
Criteria: Fit as a 24-hour contest, then overall score.
What to prepare
- One-line tagline that names the user and the job (not 'AI-powered platform')
- 300-word unique description — do not paste the same blurb onto every board
- Logo (square) plus 3–5 screenshots of the actual product, not a landing-page mock
- A tryable URL: signup, demo, or public repo — hunters bounce from waitlist-only pages on daily boards
- Founder comment ready: who it is for, what changed, how to try it in two minutes
Run this sequence
- Uneed first (queue).
- Tiny Startups, Hunt0, or Aura++ as a second daily on a different day.
- Fazier / Aura++ only if the gallery is already done.
- Never two all-day hunts on the same morning.
