Where to launch if you have never launched before

The failure mode of a first launch is doing twelve boards badly. You split comments, paste the same tagline, and learn nothing. This list is the opposite: two or three rooms you can actually sit in.

Peerlist or Smol Launch for a week. Uneed for a calmer daily. Product Hunt is homework for the next time, not this one.

Criteria: Ease, comment culture, and how survivable the room is without a street team.

What to prepare

  • One-line tagline that names the user and the job (not 'AI-powered platform')
  • 300-word unique description — do not paste the same blurb onto every board
  • Logo (square) plus 3–5 screenshots of the actual product, not a landing-page mock
  • A tryable URL: signup, demo, or public repo — hunters bounce from waitlist-only pages on daily boards
  • Founder comment ready: who it is for, what changed, how to try it in two minutes

Run this sequence

  • One weekly room (Peerlist or Smol Launch) — not three daily clones.
  • One calmer daily (Uneed) queued early.
  • Stay in comments. Do not add TinyLaunch, Fazier, and Hunt0 on the same morning.
  • Product Hunt only after this first week taught you the one-liner.

What to measure

  • Whether you could answer every comment without a script.
  • The sentence hunters repeated back to you — that is the tagline for next time.
