Where AI products should launch besides Product Hunt
AI products are over-supplied on every launch board. The platforms that still work are the ones with an AI-shaped hunt or a daily contest small enough that a specific tool can place.
Generic 'AI assistant' positioning fails everywhere. Name the job.
Criteria: AI-category fit, hunt cadence, and realistic odds of being seen.
What to prepare
- One-line tagline that names the user and the job (not 'AI-powered platform')
- 300-word unique description — do not paste the same blurb onto every board
- Logo (square) plus 3–5 screenshots of the actual product, not a landing-page mock
- A tryable URL: signup, demo, or public repo — hunters bounce from waitlist-only pages on daily boards
- Founder comment ready: who it is for, what changed, how to try it in two minutes
- A one-liner that names a task, an output, and a user — 'AI assistant' is how you vanish
- A specific comparison ('instead of copying Zoom transcripts into Notion') on the listing
Run this sequence
- Queue Uneed or Hunt0 as the daily event.
- Pick an open Monday on EarlyHunt or IndieHunt.
- Optional Fazier or Aura++ extra day if the kit is already done.
- Product Hunt only after that one-liner has survived a smaller hunt.

What to measure
- Whether hunters understood the job in the first comment.
- Signups from people who already do that workflow, not 'cool demo' traffic.
