How the three answers map to boards
The shortlist filters and sorts reviews this site already published. Budget, cadence, and priority each point at a field on the review. The page does not estimate a domain rating, a price, or a visit count the review left blank.
Budget reads the pricing block. Free only keeps a platform when the review says launching is free. Many of those reviews also store an optional paid skip or featured slot, and the row prints that paidFrom string as stored. OK to pay a little keeps every free launch, plus a paid-only board when the first number in the published price is under 50. Pounds are not converted to dollars. A paid-only price with no number stays off that list. Paid is fine removes the budget filter. Saassy Board is the review marked paid with no free launch, so it can appear only for that third answer.
Cadence reads the launch model and uses the same labels as the directory. Daily board keeps daily hunts: Product Hunt, Uneed, Fazier, TinyLaunch, Tiny Startups, and the smaller daily rooms. Weekly cycle keeps seven-day boards, including Peerlist, DevHunt, and Smol Launch. Pre-launch waitlist keeps the pre-launch model: BetaList, Launching Next, and Launching Pad. Month-long or evergreen keeps monthly and evergreen models. MicroLaunch is the month-long review today. An evergreen review would join the same answer. A daily board is not relabeled to fill the list. Fewer than five matches means fewer names.
Priority orders the reviews that passed those two filters. Backlink and SEO ranks dofollow above conditional, nofollow, and none, then the SEO score on the review. A domain rating appears in the reason only when the review stored one. Community feedback sorts on the published community score and quotes the first best-for line. Biggest spike sorts on the published traffic score and prints the visits line as written, including "High — the largest launch board" and "Smaller than Product Hunt." Developer audience lifts reviews in the developer category. Peerlist and DevHunt are those two. Other boards keep the audience sentence from their own stats, and a general board is not called a developer room just because that priority was selected.
Each name links to its review. Reset clears the three answers. Scoring runs in the browser. The answers are not sent with the page request.
When Product Hunt still belongs in a sequence
Product Hunt is still the highest-ceiling daily board in this catalog. Its review stores a free launch, a dofollow backlink, domain rating 91, and a visits line that calls it the largest launch board. A prepared finish near the top can still produce a badge and a one-day spike. The review treats it as the last stop in a sequence, not the first room and not the whole plan.
Use the picker for the rooms around that day. A weekly answer is where comments get practiced before anyone spends a Pacific launch day in the thread. A pre-launch answer is a waitlist. BetaList is the long queue, so founders file it early and let the assigned date land in the plan. A daily answer on a free budget is the rehearsal set: Uneed and the smaller daily hunts, where a small product is easier to see. Product Hunt stays eligible on a daily answer because that is its launch model and launching is free. It rises for the biggest spike or a backlink, which is what its scores say. A weekly cycle, a waitlist, or a month-long window leaves it off the list.
After the date is real, the launch time converter turns 12:01 a.m. Pacific into your time zone and builds the ICS file on your device. This picker does not choose the weekday. The Product Hunt review says to pick a date when someone can stay in the comments.
Read past the five names
Five matches are a shortlist, not a launch plan and not a placement for sale. The alternatives directory is every review, with the same launch-model and backlink labels. Best for is the editorial lists already argued: free, SEO, developers, pre-launch, daily, and weekly. The 2026 guide to the best Product Hunt alternatives is the longer account of how the boards differ and how to stack a few of them. Near-duplicate daily boards share a small maker audience. Launching on all five names in one week usually splits comments instead of adding a new room.
The line under the results is the limit. Names come from published reviews on producthunt-alternatives.com. A traffic score is the editorial number on the review. It is not a forecast of visits, and it is not a domain rating unless the review recorded one.
